Love Me Again

I pray to find the strength just to walk away,
But ambiguity plays in my head.
So I choose to stay for a while longer,
If only just to linger in your bed.

I always think back to the last time,
and just that once when you held me close.
But for every sweet night there comes a dawn,
And you leave me again with all my woes.

You say you don’t love me,
but I see through your lying eyes.
Boy, I am more than just your fantasy,
We will never break these ties.

I never believe when you say we are through,
and so to you I opt to cling.
My feelings for you will forever remain,
so please baby spare me the sting.

I beg of your mercy,
Please bare me your soul.
This love that I offer,
I swear will keep us whole.
